REICROP uv. Is a crop cover that is resistant, light, and protects plants from cold temperatures and winds. Once in place, the crop cover maintains the temperature some 4 to-5 degrees higher than the exterior temperature. Its unique manufacturing process makes it porous to water and permits the filtration of more than 80% of the sun's rays.

REICROP uv. Is especially recommended for use against insects as its unique properties provide a more natural form of protection. It may also be used inside green-houses to form a second ceiling to protect young plants from drops of water caused by condensation.

REICROP uv. Is recommended for crops such as melons, green/red peppers, cucumbers, watermelon, leaks, endives, etc. REICROP uv. Is easy to put in place and may be done manually or mechanically.

REICROP uv. Has incorporated a strip of lateral reinforcement in its wide width crop cover which makes it easier for the farmer to handle and put in place.

Working closely with crop growers and understanding their problems, PGI has designed a system whereby wide-width rolls are folded accordion-like, achieving two- meter wide rolls that are both easier to transport and handle.
