APEX Fabrics

APEX™ technology is a sophisticated process that combines advanced web forming, highly developed finishing science and state-of-the-art computer lasers to create new and innovative engineered fabrics. The technology produces stronger, more durable fabrics with superior uniformity in weights ranging from 50 to 400 gsm. Fabrics can be developed with a wide variety of virgin or recycled staple fibres including: polyester, cotton, nylon, rayon, Kevlar® and Nomex®. Miratec® Fabrics
Miratec® fabrics are the fourth generation of materials created exclusively for durable or long life markets. The fabrics possess outstanding strength, durability and uniformity. They will not tear, fray, pill or shrink. APEX™ technology enables Miratec® materials to incorporate the strength and durability that are normally achieved by heavier weight wovens at lighter weights. Properties such as stand off, comfort and fashion can be engineered into the design of the fabric. Miratec® fabrics can be treated with traditional finishing mechanisms such as jet dyeing, rotary screen printing, heat transfer printing, sanforizing, coatings, etc. Typical end use markets are apparel, automotive interiors, home furnishings, and wall coverings.

Mirastretch® Fabrics
Mirastretch® is a distinctive brand of fabrics that possess stretch and recovery properties. Design structure coupled with finishing chemistries creates a product with 50% stretch and 95% recovery. The fabrics are soft, pill resistant and wash durable.

Miraguard® Fabrics
Miraguard® is an exclusive brand of fabrics created through the combination of PGI's APEX™ and Reticulon® coating technologies. The married technologies create highly breathable barrier fabrics that are stain resistant and anti-microbial treated. No laundering is necessary. The fabric simply wipes clean with ordinary disinfectant spray.

AMIRA™ Fabrics
AMIRA™ fabrics represent a new generation of Nonwovens created for limited or single use markets. Lightweight fabrics can now be designed to incorporate the strength, bulk, surface area and performance properties for superior functionality. AMIRA™ fabrics can incorporate brand recognition with unique designs, customised images, or company logos/brand names. Typical end uses are found in the consumer market in the areas of home, fabric, beauty and health care.

Duralace® Fabrics
Duralace® fabrics represent a line of fabrics that are engineered for limited or single use performance without three dimensionality. These fabrics have exceptional uniformity and can be obtained in open or closed structures. Typical end uses include interlinings, wipes and health care applications.
